Fingerprints of no two people can be the same, and the same holds true for learning curves of individuals. Hence, I believe in private tutoring instead of teaching in a group setting. I can help students in English and Mathematics by working with them towards mastering the fundamentals. My approach would be to understand before hand the areas they feel they are struggling in and come prepared to guide them there on.

I have many years of experience in youth organizations and tutoring, so am a very approachable tutor who will push you to do your best while still giving fun and enjoyable lesson. I teach many subjects, including Maths, Science, English, Afrikaans, and Science. I live in the Southern Suburbs and teach online but am willing to travel if I am given advanced warning. I am an elementary teacher with fourteen years of classroom experience. I have New York State elementary and literacy certifications. My professional experience has allowed me to work with a diverse population of students. In addition, I have helped students of all ability levels in math, reading, writing, science and social studies throughout my years as a classroom teacher. My goal as a teacher is to not only teach the student subject matter, but to also help build confidence as a learner.

I was like many other students who didn't see math as fun and saw it more as challenging growing up. But later I found as I entered teachers college was because I didn't have the right teacher to really engage me enough to make it fun. I have learned many new ways to make math much more enjoyable for the youth of today and make then feel less anxious about math. I want them to be comfortable with it since they will be using this for the rest of their lives. If someone tells you that you will not need a specific kind of math after high school. I can tell you they will probably be wrong because you never know where you will end up and what type of math you will need.I am located in Brantford and I really want to help give a child that love for math again.

Hello, my name is Fevielyn Mani, but you can call me Teacher Fevie. I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate with experience in tutoring math online. I teach various math subjects, including basic mathematics, fractions, algebra, trigonometry, and geometry. I am also open to covering other math topics based on students’ needs. During my lessons, I make sure that students fully understand each topic before moving on to the next. I am patient, understanding, and adaptable—qualities that I believe help students learn more effectively. I enjoy helping students understand math by explaining lessons step by step in a simple and clear way. I believe that with the right guidance and enough practice, students can build confidence and improve their math skills.

I have been a full-time tutor since 2005 specialising in Primary school English, Math and Science especially PSLE subjects. I have been tutoring and teaching in various settings - tuition & Student care centres in classroom, private individual tutoring basis at home settings.  Teaching has always been my passion since young in order to help weaker students in their understanding & application so that they enjoy learning. My yearly intake of PSLE students will range from 10-12 out of whom there will be about half promoting from P5.
