I have recently graduated as a chemical engineer from HKUST. I scored 5 A*s in my A Levels and was offered a full scholarship from HKUST. I have been teaching students for the last 5 years, and students have noticed at least one grade improvement following tutoring from me. I love to teach Mathematics, but my background and university courses allow me to teach Chemistry, Physics, Accounting, and Economics up to A levels as well. Ciao! My name is Manfredi but you can call me Fredi. I've lived for 7 years in Miami where I recently graduated in Civil Engineer at Florida International University. During these years I was able to enjoy studying math and being able to teach to others. I loved my years as a tutor at the STEM labs in MDC and FIU, and I'd love to keep teaching. I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently I work as a post-doc researcher in aerospace Engineering faculty of TU Delft. I have ample experience in teaching all the courses related to Engineering such as mathematics (algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, and advanced engineering mathematics), Mechanical engineering courses (Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, etc), Physics (mechanics, electricity, light, waves, etc), CAD/CAM software (Autocad, Solidworks), and Mechanical design packages (ANSYS, ABAQUS, MATLAB, LS-DYNA). Not all the teachers are good at teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and informing the students about the importance of what they are learning. That is why mathematical based engineering courses (such as Statics or Strength of Materials) are mostly boring for the students. The other problem that many students have with courses with strong mathematical background is that their mathematical basis is weak and therefore they cannot follow the course. I usually try to start my course from the basics and therefore actively engage as many students as possible in the class (even the weak ones). I also usually try to inform the students about the importance of what they are learning in the class by giving them some examples. This makes them more inspired and interested into what they are learning. If you have extra questions before starting a class, don't hesitate to ask me.

I am located in Germany. As an IB DP&MYP math teacher, my favorite topic is Trigonometry. I just want to prove why math is fun with math-tech teaching methods and expertise using the TI-84 (graphing calculator).
