I am based in TIn Shui Wai. However, it is no major concern for me to travel for work. Bio: I am a specialized online tutor in mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, machine learning, and English as a Second Language (ESL). I received my PhD in mathematics in the US (Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ) and held postdoctoral positions in reputed institutions in France (Ecole Polytechnique, INRIA) and the USA (University of California, Los Angeles). I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience in many areas of mathematics, such as trigonometry, precalculus, algebra, and differential equations, among other topics. I also achieved great scores in the GRE and other competitive exams on my way to earning my PhD. Worked with a range of students from Primary 6 to Secondary 5. I like to teach using personal notes, materials referenced from official textbooks, and outside practice books. I have been teaching 5 students for 2 years since 2022, and all have shown tremendous improvement. One student went from NT to Express G3 with help in Math. I also helped another student move from NT to NA. I took care of an N Level student and helped them transition to O Level in Sec 5 while achieving results that allowed them to enter Polytechnic.

I am currently in my first year at UCT, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting. Alongside my studies, I have a solid background in tutoring high school students in mathematics. My goal is to help you achieve your ambitions and unlock your fullest potential.

I teach math from grade 7 to 12, along with other first and second-year engineering math modules such as calculus, linear programming, and statistics. Building learner confidence in their ability to absorb, retain, and regurgitate learned information is just as important as the information being learned. That is why I have honed this special skill to ensure my students perform with renewed confidence, proven in my 97% pass rate with one-on-one students. I am based in Polokwane, where I travel within a 20 km radius for face-to-face sessions, but I also do online lessons.

Achieved above 90% in Pure Mathematics at A-levels, with an A* in Mathematics in A-levels 2023. Previously attained a 9 in IGCSE Mathematics, one year ahead of peers who averaged 85% in all components. Able to meet either online or in-person.
