After getting my Masters degree in Mathematics, I began tutoring a variety of students from Grade 1 all the way up to University level. Most students were not really interested in Math; they just wanted to pass the course. But I realized that by going a little more deeply in the subject, building their foundation, giving them challenging problems in areas of their personal interest rather than just aiming that they pass the course, many if not most students started taking a genuine interest.
