Hello! I'm Pat, a current Astronomy MSc student at Leiden University. I received my BS in Astronomy and Physics from the University of Washington in 2023 and have been tutoring online ever since. I thoroughly enjoy helping students succeed in what are often viewed as unnecessarily difficult introductory physics courses. Through personal experience and feedback from students, these classes are not typically taught in the most effective way. I hope to help you understand the material through an example-driven approach instead of the typical lecture style you may see in your class. I also have experience helping students with upper-level physics and astronomy classes such as classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, and special and general relativity. Additionally, for high school students who are looking to apply to universities in the United States, I also tutor the SAT and various AP classes. I grew up in the US so I have a very good understanding of the wide array of standardized tests universities expect students to have taken and excelled on. Hi, I am an experienced Physics teacher who has taught a variety of curricula including IBDP, MYP, IGCSE, and A-Levels. I have also taught Y7 Maths and IGCSE ICT. I have a Masters degree in Education and studied Mechanical Engineering at the Bachelors level. I also completed a Postgraduate in Multimedia studies earlier in my career.

Omaru has over 8 years of teaching experience that dates back to when he first graduated high school. He worked as an engineer after graduating from his postgraduate from HKU. He soon realized his true calling lies in teaching, particularly in Math and Physics, which he showed great proclivity towards nurturing the love of them to others. With the teaching philosophy of “Divide and conquer”, He’s been able to distill some of the most difficult topics to digestible sizes to students. My educational background is in mechatronics. I am currently working full-time at a top international pharmaceutical company in Leiden. I have been tutoring physics and mathematics for O-level SAT students ever since I was in university and would love to keep the river of knowledge flowing.

Hello! I am a Mechanical Engineering student at the VU in Amsterdam, a course which I thoroughly enjoy. I am someone who is very capable of teaching the IB Physics program, as I understood and graduated from the program with a 7/7, the highest result possible. I have also helped many friends and younger people with studying this program, so while I do not have official teaching experience, I do have experience tutoring others and seeing visible grade improvements. I am also a queer person myself, a transgender woman to be specific. Hence, I provide a level of understanding to queer individuals that is hard to find with non-queer individuals. I provide my first lesson for free as a trial to see if the learner and I are a good fit.
