Hello! I am an American teacher living in Thailand. I am a licensed science teacher and would love to help your student with science concepts and science vocabulary.

Tutor available for teaching GCSE and IB science. Materials assessment will be given after each topic. Past papers will be covered. Target score: 9 or 45.

I am a current full-time graduate student in the Masters in Education in Curriculum and Pedagogy program. I have three years of teaching experience at The Westminster School in Dubai and two years of experience working as a consultant and senior program coordinator at Jhpiego, India (a Johns Hopkins University-affiliated nonprofit organization). Over a three-year period (2016-2019), I served as a Grade 3 Class Teacher. I was offered the opportunity to play a key role in the Primary wing of the Space X program (annual Science exhibition), where my students stood first representing one of the STEAM lessons we studied in the classroom. Not only has this position helped me develop teaching skills, but it has also made me aware of student-centered learning and organizational skills. In 2014, I joined Jhpiego as a consultant under the program M4M (Merck for Mothers), where I mainly looked after infection prevention control and biomedical waste management in private sector hospitals. This program was offered in six cities of Uttar Pradesh: Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, and Meerut. In 2015, I was offered to continue my services at Jhpiego as a Senior Program Coordinator, where I worked until July 2016. Prior to joining Jhpiego, I worked at Jal Nigam, Lucknow for three months (Mar'14 to May '14) as a Resource Person under the UNICEF-supported program, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in Health Centers.

I was once a school teacher and had rich teaching experiences in local schools. More, I have been a private tutor for over 15 years, helping international students prepare for open examinations. I am currently coaching international students on a number of subjects in English. The subjects include primary and junior secondary maths and science, GCSE/IGCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and AL Biology (AQA, OCR, Edexcel, IB). Good communication with students is a must. I will adapt subject contents and approaches in order to meet the needs of the students, who may aim at attaining better academic performance in school or preparing for open examinations.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, however, I can easily teach other subjects such as Geography and Mathematics, and have taught the workbooks of Canadian Curriculum to students of grades 3-8. I love working with kids and am aware of the responsibility a teacher has in the life of their students. That is why I'm of the view that classrooms should be a place where the kid enjoys as he/she learns new concepts. I live in Milton with my husband and we have a 3 years old daughter who gets equally excited when she sees me tutor other children.
