I am an intelligent, professional and reliable freelance writer and tutor. I have been tutoring for a few years now and mostly specialise in helping secondary age learners achieve their scholastic potential in English Language and Literature, as well as in History. I also specialise in teaching Academic Writing skills to learners of all ages up to undergraduate level and have some experience teaching English as a Foreign Language.

I have an inclusive, empathetic, and engaging pedagogical style that is not overly didactic and which makes the learning style of the pupil and the idiosyncratic manner in which they assimilate and contextualise information the fulcrum of the learning process. If the fact James I and VI had a penchant for his male courtiers causes him to stand out in your memory, helping you to remember the date of the Union of the Crowns, then so be it (24 March 1603, in case you were wondering). I believe in presenting as much detailed and contextually rich information as possible, in an exciting manner as one is able, in an attempt to spark the mind from there.
