As a qualified ESL Teacher and experience in Individual In-classroom Facilitating/Tutoring, I am passionate about teaching English to young learners to improve their English as a Second or Third Language as well as Afrikaans as Second and Third Language, especially to South African learners in Primary School between the ages of 6-12 years. My method as a ESL Teacher is to follow the Presentation, Practice and Production (PPP) elements in Lesson planning and regular Comprehension Check Questions (CCQ's) throughout lessons. I also like using colourful pictures, gestures, videos, articles, realia and age appropriate motivational quotes for further inspiration. Read less
