Hello! My name is Keiran from 4tutor, and I am a native English speaker living in Hong Kong. I come from Glasgow, which is in Scotland, United Kingdom.

I have an MA in Chinese Mandarin Language and History from the University of Edinburgh. I have also studied Spanish in school. I believe I understand the difficulties students face when studying a new language very well, as I have completed a four-year degree in Chinese and have tried to learn numerous other languages. I think this demonstrates my passion for language learning.

I have been staying in Hong Kong for 3-6 months in Prince Edward. Over the past 18 months, I have gained experience and training in teaching with primary schools and educational foundations in the UK and Hong Kong. Currently, I am employed at Shap Pat Heung Rural Committee Kung Yik She Primary School (KYS). These experiences have equipped me with the necessary skills to teach various topics including general English, creative writing, reading comprehension, listening, and speaking activities.

I have taught students aged 4-12 and tutored teenagers aged 18 and above. Therefore, I understand the different techniques required to support students of different ages. I am committed to teaching each student differently and to accommodating their unique needs.

I like to set out each task with clear and methodical instructions to ensure that every task benefits my students and their learning.
