I am an approachable and friendly teacher who aims to achieve great progress from learners and has a passion for English. I am enthusiastic and love teaching 1:1 and small groups. I have a degree in Language and Communication, a Certificate In Education and CELTA. I have many years experience of teaching GCSE English and have an in depth knowledge of the new 9:1 curriculum through my role as an AQA examiner. I also tutor students from key stages 1 to 3 and I aim to make learning fun and creative, and to motivate them to achieve their full potential. For 3 years, I taught English abroad to mixed ages and abilities and I thoroughly enjoyed engaging the children, adults and teenagers, all providing me with great feedback! I believe wholeheartedly in viewing things frоm the students' perspectives аnd sо my empаthetic аpprоаch hаs led tо my students аchieving success. Of equal importance is the strong rapport I have with my learners, and my warm and friendly attitude and strong communication skills enable me to get positive outcomes.
