Hi there! I'm Shaylet. I'm a native English speaker from South Africa, and I've worked as a teacher in three different countries in Asia: Vietnam, China, and Thailand.

I have a 120-hour in-class Entrust TEFL certificate and I'm a graduate from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration.

My teaching style is interactive and patient. I like to take the time to understand and give my students the platform to explore their thoughts and ask questions. I will be able to help you improve your academic, conversational, and overall English skills. My classes are fun, and I incorporate plenty of games. I can't wait to meet you!

I love traveling and exploring new cultures. In my spare time, I watch movies and research different topics on the internet. I also enjoy trying out new restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping.

I have traveled around Asia and have done a lot of fun things such as sea walking, paragliding, playing with elephants, pandas, and monkeys. I've also eaten some unusual things like scorpions, live octopus, and pig's brain! Teaching is my true passion, and it has allowed me to see the world.
