I've lived abroad for a collective span of nearly a decade and am consistently meeting new couples without a shared language. If your new spouse wants to improve their English speaking ability and Listening comprehension before meeting your family- please reach out and let me help your wonderful spouse create stronger bonds with you and your other loved ones!

We love absolute beginners here:) I've been one myself in Germany, Korea, and Thailand.

I am originally from California, United States, but am currently based in Chiang Mai. I enjoy spending time with my sleepy pomeranian, trying out new vegan restaurants with our friends from all over the world, and writing short stories in my spare time.

I understand that some of us were raised learning British English and encourage my students to use what they already know as the context is often the same as American English. I'm ready to meet you at your current proficiency and patiently gauge what we can improve together!

Use the vocabulary you've learned to explain your hobbies, interesting news, and other subjects that encourage you to work around possible vocabulary gaps for more advanced concepts while still conveying your general ideas. We want to stretch your language muscles! Read less
