Dear Students,

Being a Native English Speaker, a Published Novelist and a Poem Crafter, I have been teaching English - as both a subject and a language - to people across the globe for the last many years.

While the intent here is not to give a simple dry-list of my qualifications, it is to provide an objective perspective to all of you on my teaching and subject-matter expertise.

However, I believe the most important thing in teaching is much more than just subject-matter knowledge - it is teaching delivery and the ability to create a genuine student-teacher relationship. I take time to first learn about each of my student's individual needs, abilities and objectives in order to curate a tailor-made plan just right for them, consisting of real-time communication.

This approach has results in a lot of happy students, be it my 5-year-olds looking to learn English to make friends to my 17-18 year-olds doing their IB Diploma course for final school years to even my working professionals who are learning English to excel in their careers and social life.

Basic Tutor Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from Australia
Juris Doctor from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK)
- First Class Honours in BBA Accounting & Finance from The University of Hong Kong (HKU)
- Manager at The Global Knowledge Centre at Mazars Advisory, holding 6+ years of cross sectoral experience in research and consultancy.
- Business blogger and author of various corporate whitepapers (thought leadership) reports.
- Published novelist, poem and short story writer.
- Extensive teaching experience with middle and high school students for the IB and IGCSE, as well as tutoring for scholastic exams like the SAT and SAT II.
- Awardee of Lifetime membership in the Business Honour Society, Beta Gamma Sigma, as well as Awardee at the International Inspirational Women Awards 2020 Summit.
