I am a freelance tutor who specializes in face-to-face and in-house tutoring to create a natural environment. I live on the island of Boracay in the Philippines. English has been the main subject I teach, not only for children but also for adults who want to improve their communication skills to meet the demands of proper communication for foreign guests.

I have 3 years of experience in tutoring in all major subjects and occasionally in minor subjects such as music and crafting. My methods are tailored to the students I work with. I often use visual aids, videos, and trivia that pique the interests of students to trigger natural engagement and communication. I draw or carefully describe words for students who have little to no knowledge of the English language. For students who have a completely different set of pronunciations (e.g. Chinese, Korean), I make sure to pronounce each word clearly and carefully, emphasising each vowel. Read less
