My name is Ajit and I am a physics graduate from the University of Warwick with a master’s in physics with first class honours. As a certified tutor I have over 4000 hours of tutoring experience (including over 1000 hours online). I have a proven high success rate. My teaching style is patient and thorough, aimed at instilling both knowledge and enthusiasm in my tutees.

Teaching style:
I adapt my teaching style to meet the specific needs of each tutee, focusing on two main areas:
1. Theory: Identifying and addressing knowledge gaps in subject content until full understanding is achieved.
2. Problem-Solving: Collaboratively solving problems and exam questions, starting with easier questions and gradually increasing difficulty. This approach helps students build confidence and improve their exam techniques.

Teaching logistics:
• Online: Online tutoring sessions take place via Zoom utilising an interactive whiteboard and online resources. My dual monitor setup has proven effective for many tutees, who often now prefer this method. Online lessons are discounted to the price marked above.
• Face-to-face: I am happy to travel to you for tuition provided you are within my travel radius.
I currently only offer weekly sessions until the completion of the final exams, as this ensures maximum benefit. I do not offer ad hoc or trial lessons.

Background:

Academic achievements:
I excelled at GCSE achieving all A*’s and A’s. At A Level I achieved 3 A*’s in physics, maths, and chemistry, along with the J.F. Crump prize for the highest mark in physics and outstanding achievement in science. I have an avid interest in all STEM subjects. My particular interests lie in magnetism, superconductivity, and nuclear physics. I have created numerous teaching resources that are used in schools, all available free of charge to my tutees.

Marketing and design:
In addition to tutoring, I engage in marketing work that incorporates graphic design and the use of AI. This experience enhances my ability to create engaging educational materials and adapt my teaching methods to various platforms, including the effective use of technology during our sessions.

Personal interests:
Outside of tutoring, I am an avid player of cricket, tennis, and participate in my local squash league.
