My name is Thomas. I am an artist, musically, visually, and verbally. I have lived in Thailand for 8 years, during which I have taught at some of the most revered institutions Thailand has to offer. Most recently, I have taught Gifted English at Triam Udom Suksa, the best High School in Thailand. Currently, I am a Lecturer at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University College of Communication Arts. In this position, I have the privilege to teach about various subjects in communication arts including public speaking, public relations, Film, and much more.

I am able to teach all ages and levels, but I do have my preferences. I love teaching advanced vocabulary, creative writing, essay writing, reading comprehension, as well as English as a Foreign Language. I can also help with pronunciation, accents, expanding vocabulary, grammar, and conversational English.

I am well-versed in many subjects such as philosophy, sociology, philanthropy, biology, most sciences, both hard and social. I am also able to teach public speaking, advertising, and many other English-related topics.

My teaching style is student-focused, maximizing learning potential through a hands-on approach and trial and error. I encourage my students to make mistakes in order to build confidence. My goal is to help my students develop a strong skill set that will enable them to learn independently in future encounters, as well as in their private endeavors.

My teaching methods are not traditional. I believe in student action and proactive learning. Using a more traditional method involves teaching, practicing, and observing.

Students do not learn from listening only. Most Thai students are very good at reading, but when it comes to speaking, they often lack practice.

My methods will incorporate real-life experiences and focus on learning through practical instances and how to interact effectively. Read less
