I am currently a final year Mathematics and Applied Mathematics student at the University of Cape Town. I have a deep love and knowledge of mathematics, and it thrills me to be able to share that with others in hopes of showing them the beauty and depth of maths. I reside in Rondebosch, Cape Town, fairly close to UCT. I am patient, hardworking, and dedicated to providing clarity and understanding to those who find mathematics difficult.

My teaching methodologies are crucial. I first need to know and understand my learner, and observe their issues with the content from their own perspective. I try to understand what may be confusing for them and how confident they are in certain sections of the curriculum. After that, I test their knowledge on the sections they are confident in to assess their strengths. This assessment occurs in the first, complimentary lesson. Starting from the second lesson, I thoroughly review the necessary content with practice work. Read less
