As a Scottish native from Edinburgh, my understanding of the English language was further developed through a theatre degree at Edinburgh Acting School.

With over 20 years of experience as a leader in the business world, I have trained and coached many individuals in English to help them reach their full potential.

I have lived in Haarlem, the Netherlands, for 20 years, and in Spain for 12 years before that. I am married, have 3 bilingual children (NL/EN), and am an avid animal lover (especially dogs).

The lexical approach assumes that it is beneficial for students to work with language in meaningful chunks (such as vocabulary words and sentences) and that these should be prioritized over structural grammar and pronunciation study as input.
