Hello, my name is Gareth, and I am originally from Birmingham, in the United Kingdom. I am currently living and working in Thailand as an online English language and pronunciation teacher.

I am a qualified native English language and pronunciation teacher, with over 7 years of experience. I have taught students mainly aged 14 years and older, all of whom had varying language abilities.

I have prepared students for language exams, such as IELTS and the B2 language exam. Students who have studied with me have gone on to achieve an overall IELTS score from 7 to 7.5.

I also teach business English and have helped students learn and understand the language they will use in their jobs, to help them secure better jobs and use the language for job interviews.

My methodology is based on a relaxed classroom environment where students can feel comfortable and confident enough to express themselves. By doing so, they are able to learn the fundamentals of articulating their thoughts, opinions, and ideas. Additionally, I encourage students to engage in debates as this is a skill that can be beneficial both in university and in business. Read less
