My focus is to encourage, study, and systematically improve upon individual potential to learn, identify areas of growth, and foster a spirit of continual pursuit of excellence within themselves and their work. For over 20 years, I have been teaching in one way or another.
- Individuals: By focusing on an in-depth understanding of individuals, I clarify the connections between their life experiences, their strengths, and their goals with the usefulness of the material. The goal is mastery of themselves and the study skills that it would take to develop an excellent understanding of the subject matter.
- Science/Healthcare: Drawing on examples from biology, medicine, science, and other areas, I teach and reassess progress of each student and customize additional work towards their needs, strengths, opportunities for growth, and goals in life.
- Communities: By connecting information with other fields and within each person’s life journey, each student should be able to see themselves within the work and see the work in the context of their lives (past, present, and future). The goal is a deeper understanding of themselves, the material, their life goals, and the greater community around them. Read less
