Hi! I’m Ané, a passionate, patient, and energetic tutor with a unique blend of academic and creative experience. I specialize in English and Mathematics, and I absolutely love helping students understand tricky concepts, build confidence, and enjoy learning. I believe in making lessons engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs and personality.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Ernst Busch University of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, where I also received a scholarship for my studies and several awards for choreography and performance. Before that, I completed my GED with strong results, particularly in Math and Language Arts, and was a top student in both English First Language and Mathematics during high school in South Africa. I’ve also been involved in public speaking, both individually and as a team chairperson, which helped me develop clear communication and leadership skills.
I’m fluent in English, German, and Afrikaans, and I’m comfortable teaching students from diverse backgrounds and age groups. On the tech side, I’m highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, and I’m always quick to adapt to new tools or support needs.
Whether I’m helping someone tackle algebra, improve their essay writing, or prepare for an exam, I bring patience, structure, and enthusiasm to every session. I’m here not just to teach but to encourage, uplift, and help students unlock their full potential.
I am residing in Cape Town and would prefer to teach online classes, but am also open to in-person lessons. Read less
