I have a first in maths from Oxford (MMath) and integrate this into a holistic approach to learning and well-being. I find it very important to create an environment in which the student is comfortable expressing themselves freely and enjoying their learning. This creates a solid platform for a deeper and more creative approach to the subject and learning in general. Above all, it is beneficial to adapt to the needs of each individual student to help them reach their particular goals, both subject-related and in other areas such as confidence or anything else they may need assistance with.

I have worked with current and former maths students ranging from Year 5 to the end of school. In addition, I have a broad range of general experience. I have tutored and taught in various settings in the UK, Nepal, and Spain, including mainstream schools, as a teaching assistant in various types of special schools, as a rowing coach, and as an English as a Foreign Language teacher. I have also worked as a lawyer at a leading city law firm and conducted research on business ethics.

I enjoy teaching students with different abilities, from those struggling with primary level concepts to those studying advanced maths at secondary school. I have extensive experience teaching students extension maths to challenge them, whether it be to give them an advantage in their regular studies or for maths competitions. Read less
