I have online and in person experience tutoring in English Language Arts-reading, writing, comprehension, fiction and non -fiction study from kindergarten through college, SAT/ACT verbal and written, as well as American and world history. I provide instruction in College Humanities subjects.

Empowering students to steer destiny in the direction of their choice is a challenge as an educator. Since teaching is an art, I consider my instructional philosophy to be "versatility in motion" because learning styles and progress vary accordingly. Indeed, if I didn't have the passion to encourage students to be more than they could be after twenty years in the classroom, I wouldn't have been surrounded by the priceless smiles that kept me coming back.

I'm and English teacher and writer living in Oklahoma City. I'm a natural born Okie and have taught High School English here, worked in journalism and published four books. I'm state certified in English Literature, Grammar and Composition. I'm currently studying for a Masters in Distance Education. Currently, I teach an online Poetry Workshop.
