Hi there, I'm Khan, an English kindergarten teacher in Hong Kong with 3.5 years of experience. I hold a PGCE in education, TEFL Level 3 diploma, Business English diploma, and GCSEs in 4 subjects, including English. I also tutor students at an education center for conversational English, spelling, & speech festival training. Recently, my students achieved 1st & 2nd places in the speech competition. I am able to speak conversational Cantonese as well to communicate with parents about the student's progress. Please select the classes you'd like for your child: speech festival training (30 mins/1 hr), conversational English, ABCs & phonics, spellings & reading (mainly for primary students), writing (please mention age to provide suited materials), 4 in 1 (overall English including speaking, reading, writing, & dictation). My name is William Schimeck. I was born, raised, and educated in Canada. I graduated from the University of Alberta with a major in Social Sciences. After graduating, I worked as a caseworker or social worker for many years before deciding to change careers and become an English teacher in 1995. I lived and worked in South Korea from November 1995 until March 2007. During my time there, I taught at a private school, a high school, and a university. Additionally, I tutored students of all ages and backgrounds on a part-time basis. I also taught Business English to company employees in Seoul, Korea. In 2007, I moved back to Canada where I continued to teach English in a private language school in Vancouver. My students came from many different countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Korea, and China, as well as various European countries. While in Canada, I upgraded my qualifications and completed my TESL certification, teaching IELTS classes. In 2009, I moved back to Asia, specifically Thailand, where I currently reside.
