I have worked in education for over 17 years. Throughout my career, I have written and taught curriculum that connects students to academic subjects and topics through methods that are engaging and relatable. I have had the exciting privilege to utilize learning strategies by tailoring lessons to meet the distinct needs and unique abilities of each student. I am able to modify my lessons accordingly. I am experienced in private tutoring from elementary through high school and college. I work with varying abilities, such as gifted and talented, special education, emotionally troubled, homebound, and autistic populations. I have online and in person experience tutoring in English Language Arts-reading, writing, comprehension, fiction and non -fiction study from kindergarten through college, SAT/ACT verbal and written, as well as American and world history. I provide instruction in College Humanities subjects.
