Hi, I'm Russ! I have been learning Mandarin Chinese for over 15 years, and I am currently in the last semester of my Master's in Chinese Education program at CUNY Queens College. I have advanced spoken and written proficiency in Mandarin, certified by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). As someone who learned Chinese as a young adult, I understand the challenges and issues faced by native English speakers. I currently a resident of Woodside, Queen where their is an eclectic mix of Spanish, Chinese and residents from other parts of Asia.
