Hi! My name is Alya. I have a passion for biology and chemistry. I attended the University of Reading in England and graduated with a Master's in Pharmacy. I taught myself biology and chemistry concepts through music, elaborate and concise note-taking, and relating these topics with real-life examples, allowing for open discussion. I teach students in the same way - allowing them to establish their own personal interests in these topics, which I encourage throughout tutorial sessions. I strongly believe that it is important to make learning an enjoyable experience and always support academic curiosity, as this encourages retention. My teaching style will be based on what the student requires. These requirements can vary among different age groups and skill levels. Some students might require a more visual learning experience, whereas others might require more case study (example-based) learning. Whatever the case may be, I believe I am qualified and extremely dedicated to finding a studying technique that ensures the student will learn.

Kia ora! I'm Alice, a first year medical student with a passion for learning. I have no previous experience tutoring, but I've taught ballet for 2-14 year olds for three years, and assisted my peers with their work. I'm wanting to broaden my scope of teaching into academic fields. I love teaching and finding a strategy for learning that works for the student, and that empowers and supports them through their learning journey. There is nothing more satisfying for me than when someone I'm teaching or helping has that "Eureka!" moment. I am incredibly flexible in my teaching styles and am willing to work to adapt my methods to help deepen understanding of the subject. I believe that there is no better way of learning than to teach, both personally and academically. Translating academic knowledge into teachable sections is a skill that I am skilled in, and am excited to improve this. I would be thrilled if I could help even one student deepen their understanding or passion for Biology. Biology is an infinitely interesting field for me and I would love to be able to nurture that passion in students. Science in general is one of my favourite things - particularly how every field interweaves and you can use knowledge in other subjects to more deeply understand. My goal for students would be to find one thing in this field that sparks their interest and would motivate them to learn. Building confidence within the subject of Biology and allowing students to achieve their full potential within this field is paramount - and I am willing to find strategies that work to achieve this. I would absolutely love to share my passion for both learning and Biology.

I have a Masters in Physiotherapy with specialization in Orthopedics. Been a college Lecturer for 4 years. Tutoring students online since the past 4 years. Hi, I'm Tarryn Grieves. I'm 22 years old, I live in Claremont and I study medicine at the University of Cape Town. I am very passionate about Biology, hence my career choice, and I am very excited to be given the opportunity to teach a subject that I love. I will try my best to pass on my knowledge enthusiastically in a manner that is beneficial and can be easily understood by my students.

I have almost 10 years of tutoring experience. I started tutoring since I was in grade 11. I have tutored students at the level of middle school, high school, university (undergraduate), and medical school. Hi guys my name is Karyl I am a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree.
