I am a very experienced American expat who teaches English, English Language Exam preparation, Business English, accent reduction, reading, creative writing, short story development, and listening comprehension. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Literature Studies with a concentration in Mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Moreover, I have a Master of Science in Business Analytics and Data Science from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a PhD in Counselling Psychology from Charter University. Furthermore, I am also a certified Career Counsellor, a certified Career Analyst, and a Google Certified Education Coach. Additionally, I possess a TEFL Certification and a Cambridge TKT Diploma.

Currently, I am tutoring private students with my tutoring company, 'Independent Learning', and working to deliver an effective English curriculum with various NGOs in Hong Kong. For over 15 years, I have been preparing students for a variety of exams, including the Cambridge Young Learners exams, 11+, 13+, SAT, and General and Academic IELTS. I have over 7 years of experience teaching and tutoring English in mainland China and Hong Kong. I can also speak, read, and write in Cantonese and Mandarin at an intermediate level.
