Hi! I'm Ms. Isabel. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from one of the top-leading universities in the country. Even before my university days, I have since worked as a 1-on-1 tutor for students (ranging from 6th grade to high school) in the subjects of Social Science, History and English, and have also had my time teaching at public institutions and communities outside the metro. I have also attended writing workshops for creative writing, as well as participated in local writing contests. Aside from delving into political theories, assessing political landscapes and evaluating current political trends, if you also need help in doing flash fiction, descriptive writing or the like, I'd love to help! Teaching for me is a fulfilment. I respect my students, and I encourage an open space to develop your own voice and thought process over the material we are studying. Hi! I am a Canadian citizen who has lived and worked in Thailand for the last 25 years. I was a criminal law trial lawyer and Federal drug prosecutor in Canada before moving to Thailand to become an educator. My Canadian university degrees are in Political Science (with a minor in English Literature) and Law. My teaching experience in Thailand includes the following: Assumption University (ABAC) * Lecturer and Deputy Director of the Institute for English Language Education (Assumption University). * Co-founder of the 'English for Law Students' program, a joint project between IELE and the Faculty of Law. Ramkhamhaeng University (Bangkok) * Adjunct Professor (Part-time)- MA level Political Science lecturer. National Institute for Development Administration (NIDA) * Part-time lecturer in the Faculty of Law (MA level). I also have experience with individual and small group lessons for professionals (lawyers, nurses, bank employees, high school and university students). Additionally, just in case it is of some interest, I am a golf professional and instructor who played on the Asian Seniors PGA Tour and the Asia Pacific Champions Tour when I was younger. I live in downtown Bangkok and have no problem traveling anywhere in metropolitan Bangkok for tutoring sessions. I love to teach. Because of my general knowledge of many subjects and a good sense of humor, I believe my students have always enjoyed the experience.
