I have recently completed a PGCE, which has provided myself with the opportunity to teach groups of various ages and backgrounds, in the field of Business. By working with students of different ability levels, my teaching toolkit has focused on stretching and challenging high achieving students as well as segmenting tasks into smaller, achievable chunks to those who require more time. Based in Manchester, primarily working with adult learners, scaffolding and teaching material in incremental steps have allowed learners, over time, to enhance their learning and go from early days on their respective courses to confident individuals in their subject field. The teaching techniques involved include a regular reiteration of crucial content, usage of past papers and exam board material, checking of student understanding as well as a learner-based approach to ensure sessions allow learners to progress.

I have been teaching over over 10 years at the secondary and post secondary classrooms in Canada, China, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. I am a professional communicator who began teaching ESL which lead to a role in aigning theory and application in the areas of business, marketing and economics based on career, experience and adventure. I manage a recruitment firm for educator to work aboard, and I supply within the school board and tutor in the summer to students interested in fun in Canada and learning English (areas are France, Brazil and Japan). I live in East Toronto and happy to meet at the Toronto Reference Library or online.
