I am a chemistry graduate. My passion for teaching and tutoring is driven by my desire to help others. I do this as one of my hobbies but it is a very fulfilling hobby as I have seen many lives transform because of it. I am simply in love with teaching. Hello, I'm Chan Thar Soe. I have recently graduated with an M.Sc in Materials Science and I am currently working as a lab engineer in Bangkok. I am extremely passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge in science, particularly chemistry and physics.

I am a retired US Physics (including AP Physics) and Chemistry teacher (including AP), with over 35 years of experience. I have a Master's Degree in Chemistry.

I have previously studied pharmacy and obtained an American high school diploma with excellent scores. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into understandable portions and find great joy in teaching them to other students. It is innate to me to intrigue young minds to learn science objectively with deep involvement. This develops an intent to learn and refine one's knowledge. Along those lines, I wish to nurture the abilities of students who are undermotivated or have difficulty in learning science. Science, when taught as a subject, appears to be hard factual information. But when presented with the context of how that information applies to day-to-day life, it becomes rather interesting and easy, thus igniting a spark of curiosity.
