Hello! My name is Dione, but most people who know me call me Dee. I am currently based in Southern Thailand, in Phuket. I have been working in the field of education for 10 years and like to think that I have an energetic teaching style. During this time, I have worked with students and learners of various ages, utilizing a wide range of modern teaching methods. I am a TEFL-certified teacher and an English writing skills tutor, so I am also happy to help those studying any humanities subjects with their assignments. I believe in flexible teaching, which means that the atmosphere for learning is relatively relaxed. This doesn’t mean that I want you sleeping in class, but I do want you to feel comfortable asking questions and speaking freely within the level of English you understand. I have also worked in the UK, teaching English to students with various disabilities and learning difficulties, as I specialize in SEN (Special Educational Needs) education. For the past three years, I have focused more on teaching English as a Foreign Language. I believe in making lessons enjoyable, and I almost always require some form of spoken English at any level. I encourage you to communicate with me in whatever way you can. To do this effectively, you’ll need to tell me what you are comfortable saying, and together we can build from there. There will be references to e-books, which will be accessible through Google Classroom, and assignments will be given from these resources for additional support, in both free and paid lessons. As a traveling teacher, I will inform students and learners at least one month in advance of any planned movements, to ease any transitions or breaks in studying. In-person lessons are possible, but I recommend sticking to online lessons for consistency, as I may need to travel to cities that are near or far from you.

I received 4 A* grades for A Level Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. I achieved a score of 1500 on the SAT. My CGPA for STPM is 4.0. I am fluent in Mandarin, English, Korean, Malay, and Indian languages for explanation purposes. USA Native English Speaker Teacher Suitable for primary school to high school students and adult learners. Trinity College London Initial grade Grade 1-8 Total: 9 grades, no written exams. After passing Grade 8, students will proceed to the Diploma stage, consisting of two levels: (1) ATCL (Associate of Trinity College London) (2) LTCL (License of Trinity College London) Both ATCL and LTCL have written exams. The ATCL qualification is equivalent to the first year of a UK university, while the LTCL qualification is equivalent to a UK university bachelor's degree graduate. Many parents seek to fast-track their children's qualifications using this method, with obtaining an LTCL qualification during high school being possible. While it is possible to skip grades, it is not suggested since the 9-grade system is a well-designed progressive curriculum aimed at helping students learn all aspects of communication skills. Skipping grades may result in missing essential knowledge. There are four sets of exams each year: August/September, November/December, March/April, and May/June.
