My specialisation lies within understanding each student, their learning capabilities, their style of understanding and how best to increase their love of the English language. I have not only successfully prepped children into school through interview training, I have also seen the delight of parents as their child sky rocket in their English understanding. It is my passion to see students grow in confidence through their newfound joy of English studies. I am applying with Impact Language because I am interested to expand my repertoire of teaching to adult students. I am currently a first-year student at HKU studying Architecture. I achieved an 8.0/9.0 in IELTS and maintained an overall average of 90+ in my top 6 subjects after graduation. I am fluent in English and Cantonese and intermediate in Spanish and Mandarin. I only teach English (all aspects) and IELTS preparation. I am a Bachelor in Broadcasting graduate from the Philippines. I have been teaching Nursery to Kindergarten 1-3 pupils for two years focusing on Phonics, Reading Readiness and Comprehension, Writing through Practice Pages, Grammar, and Correct Pronunciation. I am currently teaching Mini-English Program P.1 students for English, Math, Science, Health, and English for Presentation subjects. I seek to engage my pupils by continuously assessing them and examining ways so they can actively participate during class discussions, often using vocabulary flashcards and activity books. I have also taught Primary and Secondary students in language center and online settings focusing on grammar and conversation.
