I have over a decade of teaching experience, including 5 years teaching English and Social Studies to middle school students and 6 years teaching Social Studies at the high school level. I am licensed to teach English, Social Studies, and English as a Second Language for 5th to 12th grade. I earned a Master of Education and have spent my entire career working in an urban public school district. I am committed to creating inclusive, supportive classrooms where all students can thrive. Something that makes me unique is that I speak Greek, and my greatest joy in life is being a father to my three children.

I studied Law and later worked in Europe, Asia, and Africa as an adviser to real estate developers. I also trained sales professionals, executives, and students on how to effectively communicate in English, whether in general or to prepare them for a specific career or exam.

I hold a Master's Degree in Architecture and I practice the profession, with a base in Kwazulu Natal (Pietermaritzburg) and the Eastern Cape (King William's Town). I am also a certified TEFL teacher with specialties in Business English, Content & Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), and IELTS exam preparation. I am currently learning French and German for the purpose of further studies in the engineering fields. Being a language student myself, I am convinced of the importance of the relationship between language acquisition and academic (and even professional) endeavors as a necessary component for successful career pathing in our contemporary globalized and increasingly globalizing world. Given my academic and career background in English and Architecture, I am equipped to teach Architecture to undergraduates and postgraduates who are either English proficient learners or speakers of English as a foreign language. I prefer online tutoring, although I am able to do in-person lessons upon request. I have been teaching English in Thailand for almost 20 years, to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced, and ages 3 to 68. Currently, I am living in Chonburi, but I have extensive experience in teaching online, including both one-on-one and group classes with up to 50 university students. This was a necessity during the height of COVID. Online teaching allows people from all over Thailand to study with me, regardless of their location. I particularly enjoy teaching higher levels, such as IELTS and TOEIC, but my flexibility allows me to teach students at all levels. With a business background, I have found it helpful when teaching at numerous major companies in Thailand. I have a deep passion for my job, and one of my biggest motivations is guiding my students to the next level. Throughout my teaching career, I have had students from various nationalities, although 95% of them have been Thai.
