Hi everyone, I'm Duncan. I was born in Macau and grew up in San Francisco. I have lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York. Before coming to Taiwan, I worked at Apple Computers as a Mac Genius and corporate trainer. I love sports, especially playing basketball, baseball, and American football. I can speak English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and a little Spanish. I learned Mandarin when I first arrived in Taipei. I have travelled to 42 countries and enjoy exploring nature. Currently, I live in Erlin with my wife and kids. Speaking English is important, but speaking with confidence is key. There are many topics we need to cover, and I believe each one is crucial in our course. I plan to lead everyone in exploring practical topics such as airport travel, transportation, asking for directions, food culture, restaurant phrases, ordering tips, business meetings, and social gatherings, among others.

I am an English teacher with about 10 years of experience teaching children and adults. Although I have mainly taught English, I am also comfortable tutoring subjects such as history, consumer studies, ancient Greek, Latin, Classics (including ancient Greek and Latin art, architecture, drama, literature, and philosophy), as well as African archaeology and anthropology.
