Hi, I'm Teacher Mae from the Philippines! I have been a teacher for over 7 years I have acquired a TEFL certificate or Teaching English as a Foreign Language. My expertise in teaching is both for adults and young learners. I am a mom of two adorable kids! I am also their teacher at home that makes it more fun to teach young learners because I treat my students as my kids too! And I enjoy having free talk conversations with topics about food, travel, education and anything interesting to the students. Teaching English is one of the things I enjoy the most. It gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge and be able to know the culture of others, because I believe that building a strong connection to the students is one of the keys to keep the lesson interesting to them. Studying in international schools has helped me attain a good command over English by participating in various spelling bee competitions. My previous work experience was as a voice actor for an American-based company, where I was tasked with providing audios in an American accent. I graduated high school with a Commerce with Psychology background and achieved a 4.0 GPA. I would love to work as a tutor to those in need of improving their English skills. Living and learning in Bangkok, Thailand has opened my eyes to many new experiences with Canadian and British teachers.
