I'm a student at CUHK, and graduated from King George V School. I posses a native level of English and am able to emulate British and American accents. I received a 6/7 (equivalent to A) for Standard Level English Literature A in the International Baccalaureate diploma. My main strengths are accent correction for local students who may struggle with the pronunciation of certain sounds, and I am also able to help with literary analysis of novels, poems, and other types of literature. My philosophy: With the increase in popularity of AI, I found that many local students were using AI generated responses in their work. This doesn't help their grade, and an over reliance on such a utility could prove to be problematic. I aim to teach English in a way that is approachable so pupils don't have to resort to using AIs. I also find that with many families moving to the UK for new prospects, or with many students who wish to study abroad, one limiting factor to this was English proficiency. I hope to help those who are seeking to leave Hong Kong by providing a good foundation for conversational English and academic English. A bit about myself: I'm a Hong Kong local born in 2005 who attended an international school from grade 4 onwards, and was raised in a local family.
