After passing Grade 8, students will proceed to the Diploma stage, consisting of two levels: (1) ATCL (Associate of Trinity College London) (2) LTCL (License of Trinity College London) Both ATCL and LTCL have written exams. The ATCL qualification is equivalent to the first year of a UK university, while the LTCL qualification is equivalent to a UK university bachelor's degree graduate. Many parents seek to fast-track their children's qualifications using this method, with obtaining an LTCL qualification during high school being possible. While it is possible to skip grades, it is not suggested since the 9-grade system is a well-designed progressive curriculum aimed at helping students learn all aspects of communication skills. Skipping grades may result in missing essential knowledge. There are four sets of exams each year: August/September, November/December, March/April, and May/June. Students need to visit Trinity's branch office to take the exams and will use a computer there to video chat with a UK examiner. The exam duration for Initial to Grade 8 exams is 30-45 minutes. As American teachers, we assist you in preparing for the exams and handle all exam application procedures. We will ensure that you or your children pass the exams with good results at an appropriate speed.
