I'm passionate about teaching and am a TEFL-certified tutor from the University of Toronto. I'm willing to help academic students and young learners with writing, speaking, listening, and grammar.

I use exam papers and syllabus to gauge students' current aptitude and practice on weak spots through exercise questions and answering techniques. For English, I teach in a fun and interesting manner to entice students to learn more, making lessons effective. For math, I teach students how to solve problems by analyzing question statements to develop their question analysis skills. I am passionate about teaching and patient in my approach with children. I am enthusiastic about the English language and use my strength in English to help students understand math problems using simple solutions. A P3 student in 2023 improved from a grade in the 70s to 98 marks in English. Another student's math grades maintained a high A throughout her P3 and P4 years while I taught her.

I am an educator, designer, and editor based in Chiang Mai. With a background in architecture and fine arts, I received a Bachelor of Architecture from Rice University, pursued studies in Art History, Theory and Criticism at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, earned a Post-Professional Certificate in Alternative Design at Archeworks, followed by a Master in Architecture from the Graduate School of Design, Harvard University. I am the former Editor-in-Chief of Perspective magazine in Hong Kong and have held various academic positions, including Visiting Fellow at City University Hong Kong, Assistant Professor at Chu Hai College of Higher Education Hong Kong, Visiting Assistant Professor at Hong Kong University, and University of Saint Joseph, Macau. I also served as the Director of the DESIS (Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability) Lab at the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI). After a decade teaching in Hong Kong and China, I relocated to Thailand, where I currently hold the position of Visiting Lecturer in the Faculty of Architecture at Chiang Mai University. My current research centers on Critical Graphic Design, Media and Publications, Landscape Urbanism and Urban Development in Northern Thailand, as well as Urban Mobility and Participatory Design Strategies for the city of Chiang Mai. Currently, I spend most days managing a small independent studio in Chang Moi, dealing with a lovely but troublesome ginger cat, and working on new initiatives and workshops for the region.
