Hello all! I'm an English tutor with 5 years of combined experience teaching learners of all ages. I began teaching English as a Second Language in the United States while finishing my Biology degree at the University of Colorado. After graduation, I started teaching English courses at Theodore International School and later moved to Bangkok, where I taught at Australian International School. I primarily covered Secondary IGCSE Chemistry, Physics, and Biology courses but continued working as a private Math and English tutor in my free time. I currently work as a freelance Data Analyst with a focus on E-commerce and blockchain technology. Learning English doesn't have to be painful! My primary goal is always to ensure that my students are interested and engaged. I use reading materials based on my students' interests and select writing assignments that encourage critical thinking and the application of new vocabulary and grammar concepts. I am a dedicated and experienced registered teacher (PCEd)with 16 years of teaching experience in Maryknoll Convent School (Secondary Section) in Kowloon Tong. Before returning to the teaching profession, I spent 5 years in the business field gaining credit experience in a Japanese bank and servicing experience in Shun Hing serving Panasonic & related brands. Actually, I started teaching at Hang Seng School of Commerce after obtaining B.Soc.Sc. in the University of Hong Kong. In the 16 years I spent at Maryknoll Convent School, I started teaching junior English and EPA and marked over 1,000 compositions in the first 2 years and took care of around 7 classes of EPA each year. Starting 1998, I was given the responsibility to hold a Principles of Accounts Panel and the subsequent BAFS Panel in 2008. I left in 2012 after finishing the first year DSE BAFS and my last year of HKAL PA in 2012. Luckily, my first year BAFS students were exceptionally hard-working and very focused in their learning. Despite hardships and uncertainties during the three years of preparation, my last year BAFS students worked a small miracle by achieving Rank #1 school (MCS) in BAFS in the first year of DSE (2012). From 2012 -2022, I worked part-time for Wisdom Corner teaching Language Arts, Mathematics and BAFS & Yr 1&2 Financial and Cost Accounting. Now, I am ready to pass on my experience to students who can focus learning via online lessons, which to a certain extent proves to be more effective since it saves time on travelling for both parties. By the way, various useful subject materials can be presented on screen once required, and the finished exercises can be sent via WhatsApp or Skype and can be marked immediately on screen and returned without delay. Basically, my lessons can be recorded and retrieved anytime.

Hi! My name is Aimee, and I'm a highly qualified EDB NET scheme teacher currently teaching P1-6 students at a primary school on Hong Kong Island. As someone who graduated in London with a First-Class Honours degree in Creative Writing, I have a passionate interest in literature and the English language and take great pleasure in teaching it. In addition to my BA, I also obtained an MA in the same subject.
