I am a dedicated and ambitious third-year LLB student currently studying at STADIO Higher Education. My legal journey began at Varsity College Durban North, where I achieved an 86% aggregate and proudly won the KZN Moot Court Competition as part of the college team. In 2024, I continued to excel academically with another 86% average and gained practical experience through vacation work at an elite law firm. I have achieved distinctions in every module to date and was honored with an invitation to the Golden Key International Honour Society for academic excellence. In 2025, my academic average is 84%, and I have been invited to further vacation work.

I have been a university law lecturer for five years! No student is the same! I am particular about what works for each individual, learning about their strengths and weaknesses, and helping them work on these. I maximize my transferable skills more when I understand my students and their needs. This results in bringing out the best in every student! I am an excellent tutor and research assistant for Law of Equity and Trust, Land Law, Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Family Law, Law of Evidence, and Law of Torts. I participate in moot court trials of students by acting as a judge in their courtroom sessions. I also help students review their assessments with feedback and guide them on how to write a good and well-structured essay. In the process, I help them improve their legal writing skills and assist them in conforming to the "Oscola" referencing style. I particularly assist them with being more critical than descriptive in their analysis of case studies. Hello students and future lawyers! I was called to the Bar of Ontario on January 25, 2019. My areas of practice are Civil Litigation (Human Rights, Employment, Real Estate Litigation, and Commercial Litigation) and Criminal Litigation (Criminal Defence). I am currently a Partner at AAA Law LLP. I also work as a private tutor helping foreign trained lawyers, and foreign trained and Canadian students prepare for law exams, and have been doing so since February 2019 (one month after I was called). I also tutor Ontario Bar Exam Candidates in the areas of Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, and Business Law. Since Covid-19, I mainly teach online. I have always had a passion for teaching law and helping law students pass their exams or become qualified lawyers in Ontario. I am also a mentor to my articling students and law clerks at my firm, AAA Law LLP. I have noticed recently through my work as a tutor that students have been struggling to pass the Ontario Bar exams. Furthermore, I have a very high pass rate with my students and provide detail-oriented sessions. I also conduct exam workshops. I can provide lecture-based sessions, but also custom-oriented sessions based on specific student needs, if requested. I have experience conducting group sessions, as well as one-on-one sessions for up to 5-10 hours at a time. I truly have a passion for teaching law and have hopes of one day obtaining a PhD in Law and lecturing at a University in Ontario.

I received subject prizes (i.e., ranked first in class) for contract, tort, company and intellectual property law throughout my four years of law school. Alongside those modules, I also received firsts in medical, family, property (land and trusts) and EU law.

Enthusiastic Social Sciences Tutor BSc, MSc & PGCE (Social Sciences) - University of Hull I currently tutor numerous regular students in multiple different subjects - law, psychology, criminology & sociology. I taught sociology and psychology in a further education college for one year. As well as teaching law part-time in a sixth-form college. I am also an examiner for OCR A-Level Law I am currently a student myself – a PhD Student researching Green Criminology. I have a keen interest in social sciences having studied Law, Psychology and Sociology at A-Levels. I then followed onto university and completed a Criminology and Law degree. Once I had completed my degree I continued with my education and completed an MSc in Applied Social Research. I have a keen interest in social sciences and had the desire to teach these subjects to others, thus completing my PGCE which allows me to work with 16+. I have decided to continue with my studies now, and as explained at the beginning of this passage, I am now completing my PhD in Green Criminology, however, I do still also want to focus on my teaching. I am free all evenings, and weekends for online tuition. Engaging a student on the subject is my main priority! Allowing them to delve into the subject, and enjoy what they’re learning, this way they will achieve better understanding and memory of the topic! I like to work with resources such as flash cards, problem-solving, quizzes etc. This helps them first grasps the basics. I like to develop a rapport with my learner, so I can teach and understand their favoured teaching style. I am an adaptable person and will cater to the specific tutoring needs of each individual learner. Some learn better with passages of texts to focus on, some prefer to answer questions, where as some may like to just sit and have one to one discussion for instance.
