Hello! My name is Natalia and I tutor elementary, middle and high school math. I am currently studying at the University of Toronto and I have learnt, through experience, how to approach complex subjects so they are easy to understand! My location is Toronto and also Mississuga.

I just finished high school at Jacob Hespeler Secondary School, and I’ll be starting at Queen’s University in the fall, for a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. I play field hockey and I’m a boxer, and I love arts, including music and drawing.

My students have always initially found it tough to excel in H2 Mathematics and most of the difficulties occur because teachers in school are unable to break the topics down into simple terms, as well as providing a list of question types for students to understand. Having 3 years of experience in teaching H2 Mathematics, I have come up with the solution to this problem and will apply a “bottom-up” rather than a “top-down” approach in our three-phased approach in our tuition pedagogy that is reflected in our lesson plan. In our lessons, we will also learn to substitute complicated terminologies into more layman terms so that students will have learning much more relatable and easier to remember.

Quick introduction: I have been doing part-time tutoring for the past 6 years. Since I was 15 years old, I have had a strong interest in mathematics, which has allowed me to understand the best way to grasp concepts and achieve top grades.
