Hi all, my future students, I'm Som from Thailand. I speak Thai, but I prefer English. I can teach you all about Mathematics at any level. Everything is flexible here: time and class. Most importantly, I would like to conduct online sessions through Zoom because I am currently studying for my PhD in Mathematics at Swansea University in the UK. I teach all topics of mathematics, especially calculus, trigonometry, coordinate geometry, and algebra. Currently, I am a master's student at ESSEC living in Cergy (95800) and am willing to give online tutoring sessions. I focus on concept-based teaching rather than purely numerical methods and have experience in teaching probability and statistics.

Having been through the Scottish school system, I know first hand how difficult High School exams can be. I currently hold a 2:1 BSc (Hons) degree from the University of St Andrews, and I am continuing studying at the University of Edinburgh. During High School, I received straight As and took Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology to Advanced Higher level. I was awarded prizes for highest S5 attainment, as well as top in the country for Higher Chemistry and Advanced Higher Physics. I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a true passion for teaching others and sharing knowledge. Flexible and willing to work at an appropriate pace, whilst also pushing hard to get the desired results.

I love teaching and learning Mathematics and Physics conceptually. I connect the dots by relating concepts in the textbook to real-life scenarios and use anecdotes and humor to solidify understanding. This is how I learned to study effectively in high school and students came to me for help (which was really fun!) I reside in Northcliff and am a first-year Computer Science student at the University of the Witwatersrand. I am surrounded by Maths all day, every day, and I am majoring in Physics.

Hi there! My name is Saffron and I am a recent graduate from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Mathematics, where I received a 2:1. At A-Level I achieved an A* in Mathematics and A in Further Maths, I also received an A* in Mathematics at GCSE level. During the sixth form, I have gained extensive tutoring experience. I spent my free hours as a teacher’s assistant to a GCSE maths class, where I help to aid the students with anything they were struggling with. I gained a great deal of satisfaction from helping them improve their grades and truly enjoyed the journey as a whole. I also used to run an after-school physics club for Year 5 pupils. This shows my ability to work effectively with students of all ages. During my Year 11 summer, I undertook a volunteering project in Nicaragua where I taught basic Maths and English to underprivileged primary school pupils. I feel that these experiences greatly improved my ability to communicate and explain concepts in a more concise manner.
