With my strong interest in teaching Math, I have specialized in private Math tutoring for international students for more than 20 years. During each tutorial, learning materials are carefully structured so that my students can learn at their optimal pace. Moreover, I ensure students fully understand all theorems and logical concepts, rather than simply getting the answers right. This approach is essential for students to truly enjoy studying Math. For those with advanced abilities, I may introduce pre-study topics ahead of their school’s pace. Clear working steps—which are very important for the IGCSE, GCSE, and IB exams—will be thoroughly guided. Additional notes and exercises are provided to students based on their abilities and study progress. After each lesson, students will be assigned homework for practice, which should be handed in at the next lesson. Students will also learn how to create and organize their own study notes for future revision, making their study and review process as efficient as possible. For students preparing for the IGCSE or GCSE, past exam papers and sample papers will be provided for further practice. Ongoing progress reports will also be provided to parents to keep them informed about their child's learning progress.

I am familiar with both the UK iGCSE and IB syllabus. As a chartered CPA and MBA graduate from Tsinghua/MIT Sloan Business school, I can teach accounting and business-related subjects. I have years of working experience in Private Equity and M&A consulting. I have been teaching students for more than 10 years. I am skilled at explaining abstract concepts and training students with a high aim for public exams. I am available to travel, but mainly teach on HK Island only.
