I've been successfully teaching and coaching Cross-Cultural English & French Business / Relationship building & communication in Bangkok for over 20 years with many locally present international corporations (Michelin, Sony Pictures, Nikkei-The Financial Times, MUFG, Chanel, L'Oréal, ...).

My double background in business (Marketing Communication for the luxury industry) and education (experienced coaching, training and program development) has put me in a unique position to help my learners achieve the level of impact they seek when speaking English or French with speakers of these languages.

As a young French university graduate, my first job was in the Paris office of American fashion designer Ralph Lauren, spearheading brand development and communication at the European level and beyond. After eight years with Ralph Lauren, I became the independent MarCom consultant I still am today, providing counsel and actively supporting brands in landing and growing in new, culturally different markets.

It quite quickly became clear to me that direct (very "Western") communication versus indirect (very "Asian") communication was a very central part of the challenges my clients faced.

Misunderstandings arising from communicating indirectly to a direct communication audience (or the other way around) lead to poor relationships and slower business development, and even to deal-breaking situations.

This is why coaching clear, efficient, and impactful communication became an integral part of my work.

My teaching method is student-centered. In our first meetings, we will discuss your current abilities, your context, your objectives, and we will define a road map together. A typical session starts with a short catch-up conversation in the target language, followed by a focus on a specific or common communication challenge. We will then discuss ways to overcome that challenge through linguistic and soft skills advice, and finally, we will engage in a simulation/role-play to apply concepts and techniques learned. اقرأ أقل
