I am very much about students practicing problems. I would show them how to do a question and I would then get them to try a similar question. I would then check to see where understanding lacks and consolidate pronlem areas.
I have taught online during covid and prior to that. I have used zoom and other online platforms.
A student would tell me what topics they need help with. I would then check what the curriculum teaches, as it might be different with different school.
I would write to the parents regarding finding solutions and adapt a colaborative effort to make them succeed in the subject.
I can make videos where I go through questions that the student is struggling with and have alternative resources to learning the content.
I can give a spot test and check that the homework understood, before moving onto new content.
I am adaptable.
