My name is Jacob and I am from London, UK. I have been an English teacher for almost 10 years. I currently live in Saudi Arabia, where I teach at a University and also tutor online. I have a Masters Degree in teaching English and am a certified IELTS instructor. I have 2 dogs, a Golden Retriever and a particularly troublesome German Shepherd, who occupy a lot of my time. I have also recently taken up windsurfing and scuba diving. After completing my degree in Russian Studies and my Cert- TESOL qualification, I moved to Russia to work as an English teacher. Firstly with International House and then with a number of other language schools. I also worked as a tutor for a variety of students. I have also spent my summers working for a language school in London, teaching students from all over the world IELTS preparation. I am currently living in Saudi Arabia teaching students at the University. I have experience teaching students of all ages from 5 to adult and all abilities, general English as well as exam preparation (Cambridge and IELTS). I have just completed an MA-TESOL (Masters degree in English Teaching) at the University of Nottingham, and I am also a certified IELTS instructor. I like my students to feel comfortable, gain confidence in communicating and learning, so I create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere to help my students express themselves.

Here is your passionate teacher from Munich! I hold a Master degree in TEFL and Social Pedagogy from the Kyiv Teacher Training Institute of Foreign Languages and a Master degree in English Studies from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. My teaching experience includes delivering courses of General English to mixed age groups of learners of all levels, as well as conducting in-company courses of General and Business English, as well as exam preparation courses. In addition to working in the MVHS and several other language schools, I have a successful experience in one to one teaching. I always supplement my coursebooks with extra activities, such as reading and discussing articles, TED Talk watching and discussing, brainstorming, delivering presentations to encourage communication and my students’ active involvement in classroom work.
