Hi, I'm Chris, a Start-up brewery owner originally from Reading, England. I moved to Hamburg 6 years ago to play semi-professional Bundesliga hockey and fell in love with the city, the people and the culture. having previously studied chemistry at Oxford University and following various roles in corporate entities, I decided to follow my passion for beer and brewing to study formally as a brewer and start my own beer company. I, together with my business partner, now run two pubs and look forward to growing in the years to come. My passion aside from beer is Coaching & Teaching, and in the past few year I have offered private Tutoring to students and individuals looking to progress against real-life projects, examples or goals. My name is Lorraine, I am a native french speaker with an excellent level of English as well. I studied the English language, literature, and history for 4 years in France, I tutored pupils and students for 2 years and it gave le the experience I have now. Hey there! My name is Kayla Graham and I am from Cleveland, Ohio, USA. I recently moved to Hamburg in the beginning of 2019 and have found myself as an English teacher! I love watching my students knowledge and confidence grow with every lesson. I have been working with children, teens, and adults. In America, I studied Environmental Science(specifically Sustainable Agriculture). I also was an art teacher in for Kindergarten to 6th graders, and did weekend art classes with adults! I love working with young children and incorporating art and fun games into my lessons. With teens, I love helping their vocabulary grow and helping them at the harder topics they may struggle with in school. As for adults, I really enjoy helping conversation flow and working with pronunciation and overall confidence. My English classes are a judgement free zone. Learning a language does not need to be uncomfortable and stressful, instead, it should be something exciting and new! Living in Germany it has been very hard not speaking fluent German and I am still at a beginner level, but I think that has helped me grow as a teacher. It has forced me to try new things and I can really relate to my students. I always love to know what exactly my student wants out of their sessions before they begin so I can fit each lesson to their needs and interests. I really hope to hear from you soon:)
