I have a Master of Arts in Visual Anthropology and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. I am also a TEFL 120-hour premier qualified teacher. I was born and raised in Canada and subsequently lived for 15 years in Britain, therefore I can help you with British English as well as American English.

I teach children as well as adults, working from phonics all the way to business English. This vast range gives me a unique insight into the building blocks of learning English that can help you along your journey. I believe that learning English should be engaging, fun and personalised to individual needs and goals. My lessons incorporate all areas of English, from speaking, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, as well as pronunciation and accent reduction.

I will work to develop lessons unique to your needs, with lots of time spent on speaking in English, I will include activities in writing, listening, reading and pronunciation as well. Each lesson will start with a pre-lesson activity completed by you which we will review in class and that will set-up the topic of discussion for our lesson, and with a follow-on activity as well.
