I have been teaching English to one of the schools here in Thailand for 3 years now. I also taught English to young learners, beginner, intermediate, and advanced students through online teaching of Chinese and Japanese students. While stepping into this role, I earned my TEFL certification after completing an on-line 120-hour course. Through my teaching experiences and TEFL studies, I developed critical pedagogy and classroom management skills, along with a passion for teaching English. In my classes, I typically set aside five to ten minutes at the start of each class for students to share their “highs” and “lows” for the week, a ritual that my students have appreciated. I aim to support students’ social-emotional well-being as they learn English and deepen their global awareness. I am an upbeat, positive person with lots of energy and ability to communicate complex information in an understandable way students can easily comprehend. My strong initiative and exceptional organisational skills, combined with my ability to work well under pressure, allow me to play a crucial role in a fast-paced teaching environment. My names is Noni. I am from South Africa and I am in Bangkok Thailand working as an English teacher at an international private school. I am 26 years of age. Complementing my great communication skills is my open nature, I always add diversity wherever I go. I have a true passion for working as an English teacher. I aim to deliver perfect English classes every time I am with my students. My passion for education shows through my work, and helping people improve their competence in the English language is something I pride myself on. As an English teacher, I want to be able to take part in the development and enrichment of students' lives as they prepare for their futures. I provide a classroom of stability and support for all students, encouraging them to excel in all that they do. I believe that planning and obtaining good resources before each lesson is very important, whatever it may be, and strategically link them in the flow of my teaching. My enthusiasm and well-planned preparation will improve the students' attention and motivation rates, resulting in good behaviour and results. I recognise that students have different abilities; therefore, I use various techniques with groups and individuals. I believe in rewarding good behaviour through praise and encouragement and deal with poor performance fairly and constructively. As a teacher trainer, I work collaboratively with teaching teams to ensure that they are working effectively and are able to critically evaluate their own performance in order to grow personally and professionally.

Currently teaching English and Creative Writing to students aged 7-15. - I have a 250 hour TEFL certificate and a diploma in English language and Creative Writing. - Geological Engineering and Geography Bachelors Degree, meaning I am also able to help with revision in these subjects and various sciences (High School Level) - Originally from London, England. My name is Lucian, I am a half Chinese half English ex-pat. I speak English as my first language and achieved two A*'s for English GCSEs. I previously tutored mathematics for multiple classes, often those who struggled with understanding complex problems. English is an important language for any young learner, especially given the international nature of Hong Kong. I am 18 and plan to study Politics at University next year. I am friendly and hospitable with all ages or skill levels. As an 18 year old, I find it easier to relate to students than an older tutor might, whilst being able to provide a comprehensive understanding of English.

My experience has been that one-to-one personal tuition has a unique value to students because of the ability to resolve the student's personal barriers to learning in a way that lays the foundations for a deep and long-lasting understanding of the subject.
